The surrounding

From the house18 in the Glursernstraße you can reach the village centre of Schluderns in five minutes. The legend speaks of the "Liebgolden Schluderns", which once had golden gates and a square paved with black marble. The Churburg, the Ganglegg excavation site, the parish church and the Vintschger Museum are all worth a visit!

Around Schluderns

Natural landscape, the irrigation channel trails, the sunny side mountain, the Ortler group. You will find Romanesque art treasures, places of worship, churches, towers, frescos. A hike, a bike ride, public transport or your private car will take you from Schluderns to numerous sights, walking trail or into the untouched nature. Innumerable sport possibilities in summer and winter.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an important concern for us at House 18. That's why we used local materials during the renovation of our house, which not only helped to protect the environment but also created a cozy and natural atmosphere. However, the construction alone is not enough. We encourage our valued guests to work with us towards a livable future.

Travel options

Studies show that the largest part of a vacations's carbon footprint is generated by the travel to the location. Therefore we recommend to consider public transportation or electric travel when visiting us. The connections to Sluderno and Mals are excellent, facilitated by the post bus route through Switzerland, as well as by a direct bus service from Austria (Landeck station), or by train through the picturesque Vinschgau valley from Italy. The House18 is powered with a self-sufficiency level of approximately 90% from the in-house photovoltaic system, and we are currently working on installing a wallbox so you can charge your electric vehicle with us in an environmentally friendly manner.. Numerous city bus connections allow access to all the sights and activities on-site. The South Tyrol Guest Pass is now included with every booking. With the Guest Pass, you can use all of South Tyrol's public transportation for free. Together, lets make our contribution to the protection of our climate and a fair future.
